Orchard Middle School is making a difference by spreading kindness in a number of ways!
This is a special week designed to promote and encourage our students to be kind to others. Orchard Middle School will celebrate this starting Monday, February 14th.
Students and staff can show kindness by participating in the following ways:
Monday, February 14th: Wear Red. Students complete a random act of kindness for another person. Each student will be given a special wristband to wear throughout the week. Students will be asked to sign a pledge to show kindness to others in the future. Once a student signs their pledge, he or she will be entered in a raffle and be eligible to win prizes throughout the week.
Tuesday, February 15th: Hats off to kindness. Students can wear a hat. Students can also show their kindness by donating hats and gloves for people in need.
Wednesday, February 16th: Sock it to bullying! Students can wear crazy socks and donate socks for those less fortunate.
Thursday, February 17th: Continue the act of kindness by donating travel sized toiletries for those in need.
Friday, February 18th: Wear GREEN to show love towards others. Please donated new or gently used books for Solon’s Little Libraries.
Thank you for spreading kindness and participating!
Students will earn spirit team points for participation.
