Orchard Middle School is making a difference by spreading kindness in a number of ways!
The Orchard Middle School Sixth Grade Leadership Team is sponsoring Make a Difference Week. This is a special week designed to promote and encourage our students to be kind to others. Orchard Middle School will celebrate this starting Monday, February 11th.
Students and staff can show kindness by participating in the following ways:
Monday, February 11th: Students can wear their Kindness, Pass it on tee-shirts. In addition, each student will be given a special wristband to wear throughout the week. Students will be asked to sign a pledge to show kindness to others in the future. Once a student signs their pledge, he or she will be entered in a raffle and be eligible to win Solon Spirit Wear at the end of the week.
Tuesday, February 12th: Hats off to kindness. Students can wear a hat. Students can show their kindness by donating hats and gloves for people in need.
Wednesday, February 13th: Sock it to bullying! Students can wear crazy socks and donate socks for those less fortunate.
Thursday, February 14th: Wear red to show love towards others. Students can donate travel sized toiletries for those in need.
Friday, February 15th: Don’t be mean, wear green! Students can wear green to support the fight against bullying. All students will receive 5 good apples to give to others when they witness acts of kindness.
Thank you for spreading kindness and participating!
