Comets Capture GCC Championship!

The Solon Tennis Team won The GCC for the sixth straight year.  The Comets scored 34 out of a possible 35 on Friday May 4 at The Cleveland State indoor courts.

Luke Qin won 1st singles beating the 1st and 2nd seeds back to back, perhaps Luke's best performance of the year. The team needed his wins and he delivered.

Kavi Jain won 2nd singles in a businesslike manner, like he's done all year.

Thomas Liu is undefeated in singles this year and won 3rd singles.  Thomas made it look easy.

1st doubles. Jake Novack and Andy Lebowitz, finished 2nd in a tough match. Andy and Jake have won consistently all year and are the core of a great team.

Justin Prindle and Zilong Huang won 2nd doubles. They beat a team from Shaker who they had lost to last Monday and it wasn't close.

Congratulations to all of our Comets who all earned All-Conference honors with their performances.
