JV's chalk up two more victories!

Another overwhelming win and this time against Brunswick in an away game yesterday, May 2… Unfortunately Brunswick only had 5 players on hand.

Today, the weather seems to be clearing this afternoon for our duel against Jackson at home. As of now, it would seem that they will bring 10 players but I will keep our players know after 12-noon today. Varsity will not be playing so the courts are all for J.V’s...

Our J.V. Tennis Comets extends our undefeated season (so far 12-0!) by beating Hawken 3-0 (April, May 1) in a pre-arranged Doubles of 3 matches consisting of the following duos:

Aaron Lee/Nick Kernan 6-1, 6-2

Brennan Stokkermans/Roberto Catalano 6-3, 6-0 David Feng/Max Brush 6-1, 6-0

Congratulations to the above WINS as I find it always interesting to watch the different dynamics of doubles. It always takes “Two to Tango”!

Today, we are playing Brunswick away which requires 6 players only, tomorrow ALL-HANDS ON DECK as we play a STRONG Jackson at Home with our varsity. The Shaker line-up for Saturday is already set and requires ALL remaining 8 players for 4 pairs of Doubles against 4 Teams. Leaving 7AM Saturday from Solon.

On another note, we may play St. Ignatius on Monday Away… I will keep you posted.
