Free and Reduced Lunch Program
The Free and Reduced Federal Lunch Program application must be completed by October 3 for the 2018-19 school year.
With the online application process, the student’s approval status (free, reduced or denied) for lunch is known immediately upon completing the submission. Direct links to the online application and the directions for completing the application are listed below.
For families who have already filled out a new application online and received a confirmation letter stating that your child (or children) will receive a free or reduced lunch for the 2018-19 school year, you do not need to do anything further.
If you have received a confirmation letter stating that your child (or children) have been directly certified and will receive a free lunch for the 2018-19 school year, you do not need to do anything further.
If you have NOT received either a confirmation letter or have not yet completed an online lunch application to determine your child’s free and reduced lunch status for this year, please do so immediately if you believe you qualify.
The 30-day grace period will end on Wednesday, October 3, and that is the last day your child will receive a free or reduced lunch without a renewed application for the 2018-19 school year. A new application must be completed and submitted online using the link below. Only one application per family is needed.
Without a current application and certification, your child’s free or reduced status will be automatically changed to a paid status per State and Federal Regulations on October 4. The full cost of lunch at the elementary schools is $3.40 and the middle and high schools is $3.65.
Remember, if you have already completed the application this year or have been directly certified, you will have received a confirmation notice and no further action is necessary.
