Solon High School Return to In-Person Learning: October 19
As we prepare to transition to a alternate day in-person learning model on October 19, I wanted to share with you a snap shot of what the day will look like for ALL of our students at SHS, both those who will continue to stay ALL remote and those who will be attending in person a few days a week.
Our teachers are busy preparing lessons that will adapt to teaching students who are physically in their classrooms and those learning virtually through live streaming in real time. Rest assured that our commitment to providing first class instruction will not waiver under this new model. Our students who are remote learning (either a few days a week or all the time) will still participate in daily lessons, take assessments, be a part of class discussions, group work, etc.
I, personally, am so excited to welcome students back to our building. And as I have stated since this summer, I am confident that we will work together – teachers, administrators, support staff, parents and students – to make sure our students continue to thrive and find academic as well as social and emotional success.
You can expect further communication from me in the coming weeks with details about parking permits, school pictures, student drop-off and pick up, etc. As always, thank you for your continued support of our students!
