“We are thrilled to have Mr. Regano and Mr. Pickana continue at the helm of the Solon Schools into the future,” said Solon Board of Education President John Heckman. “Their leadership continues to be invaluable to our school district and community.”
Mr. Heckman and the other Board members cited Mr. Regano’s effectiveness as an administrative leader with the Solon Schools and the consistency of leadership he has provided over more than three decades, which have enabled the district to maintain the highest standards and academic achievement levels in the state. Similarly, the Board noted Mr. Pickana’s exceptional work in safeguarding and planning district finances.
In other action, the Board approved the appointment of Jim McQuaide as Solon athletic director beginning June 1.
