October 12 Solon High School Pre-ACT/PSAT Testing Day Information
This is a reminder that on Wednesday, October 12, high school students will be testing as follows:
All freshmen will take the Pre ACT from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. They will need to bring a calculator, number 2 pencils (not mechanical), and the lavender admission ticket they will receive in English class by Friday with the room assignment listed. The lavender sheet includes tips for testing, information for the test day and explains why students are taking the Pre-ACT.
All sophomores are pre-registered and will take the PSAT from 7:30a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. They will need to bring an approved calculator and number 2 pencils (not mechanical). Room assignments are attached to this message and are posted throughout the school.
Juniors who registered by paying the $21 fee will take the PSAT from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. You need to bring an approved calculator, number 2 pencils (not mechanical), and a photo ID. Room assignments are attached to this message and are posted throughout the school.
Juniors who did not register or pay for the PSAT do not need to attend school and should work on other school work that day.
Seniors do not attend school. We suggest you work on college applications that day.
Freshmen, sophomores and juniors only need to be at school during testing times. Bus routes will run at regular times to and from school. Students who remain at school after testing must report to the study hall. A small selection of items will be available in the cafeteria that day.
