On Tuesday, March 10, ALL current juniors will be required to take the ACT at Solon High School as a part of their state-mandated graduation requirements. There is NO cost to students or families for this test. Juniors are expected to be in their testing location by 7:45 a.m. and testing will conclude approximately noon. Students must bring #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils), a calculator and photo identification.
PRE-ACT for SOPHOMORES – MARCH 10
On Tuesday, March 10, ALL current sophomores will be required to take the Pre-ACT at Solon High School. There is NO cost to students or families for this test. All sophomores were given a purple admissions ticket in their English class on where to report on Tuesday. Students must bring their admission ticket along with #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils) and a calculator. Sophomores are expected to be in their testing location by 7:45 a.m. and testing will conclude between 11-11:30 a.m.
Students may not leave their testing rooms until all students in that location have completed testing.
Buses will run at their normal times. Students remaining at school following the ACT and Pre-ACT testing must stay in study hall until the end of the school day. The cafeteria will not be open on Tuesday, so students should bring a snack or lunch if they are remaining at school.
