2018-19 Chromebook Pick-Up Information & Repair Reminder

SUMMER CHROMEBOOK REPAIR

This is a reminder for our students who have Chromebooks that if their device has been damaged this summer they may turn it in for repair during the week of August 6. Chromebooks in need of repair should be dropped off at the Solon Board of Education main desk between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Do not drop off Chromebooks for repair at the school or after August 10.

Students will be able to pick up the repaired device on the first day of school in the Library-Media Center at their school. Please remember that any summer repairs count toward the one covered repair for the 2018-19 school year.

Parents dropping off Chromebooks for repair will need to know their child’s Solon student ID number.

 

2018-19 START OF SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK PICK-UP

Students in grades 7, 8 and 9 will receive new Chromebooks at the start of the school year. Students should pick up their Chromebooks according to the following schedule:

Solon High School (SHS Library-Media Center):

Students Entering 9th Grade: August 15 from 2:30-6 p.m.

 

Solon Middle School (SMS Library-Media Center):

Students Entering 7th Grade: August 13 from 2:30-6 p.m.

Students Entering 8th Grade: August 14 from 2:30 to 6 p.m.

 

Chromebooks will not be issued without a signed Usage Agreement. To download the Usage Agreement, click on the following link or copy and paste it into your Internet browser:

Please Note:  Students who are unable to pick up their Chromebooks on their scheduled day noted above will be able to pick up the device on the first day of classes in the Library-Media Center at school. A signed Usage Agreement must be turned in at that time as well.
