  • Curriculum Night

    Wednesday, August 28 at 7pm

The faculty and I cordially invite you to our Curriculum Night on Wednesday, August 28, beginning at 7 p.m.  The purpose of this program is to provide parents the opportunity to meet their student’s teachers and hear a brief presentation about each class.  Teachers will give an overview of their respective courses and will answer questions about curriculum, grading procedures, homework and testing.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. with first period class.  Parents will then follow their child’s schedule throughout the evening.  Each class will last ten minutes, with five minutes allowed for changing classes.  First period is fifteen minutes in length to allow for a few general announcements.  Also, there are no presentations for study hall or lunch.

Please remember to bring a copy of your child’s schedule (can be found on Power School as of Aug. 21) and the school map that is provided on the back of this letter with you to Curriculum Night on August 28.  Please be advised that if you view the schedule using your phone application rather than through your computer log-in, room numbers do not appear.

The time schedule for the evening will be:

                            Period 1                                   7:00 – 7:15

                            Period 2                                   7:20 – 7:30

                            Period 3                                   7:35 – 7:45

                            Period 4A-4B and 4B-4C            7:50 – 8:00

                            Period 4C-5A and 5A-5B            8:05 – 8:15

                            Period 6                                   8:20 – 8:30

                            Period 7                                   8:35 – 8:45

For parents who have a student enrolled in a Zero Period Physical Education or Health class, please report to the Main Gymnasium at 6:45 p.m. to meet your student’s teacher.

We look forward to meeting you on Wednesday, August 28, at 7 p.m.
