Bus Transportation Opt-In Form for 2025-26

Families who need bus transportation must submit a Bus Transportation Opt-In Form to be sure their students have a seat on the bus and are included on the bus routes. Families who are new to the district may submit the form as soon as their children are officially enrolled. Please note: If you need day care transportation for your child in grades K-6, you must submit both the Opt-In Form and the Day Care/Shared Parenting Transportation Request Form.

Solon Day Care/Shared Parenting Transportation Request Form for 2025-26

All school-year change requests for Day Care Bus Transportation for before- or after-school care for 2025-26 must be made by submitting the online Day Care Transportation Request Form. Families who are new to the district may submit the form as soon as their children are officially enrolled. A new shared parenting form must be submitted annually. 

Please remember that day-care transportation is not guaranteed. A minimum of 5 students must travel to or from school to a Solon day care provider for bus transportation to be provided.

Non-Public & Community Schools Transportation Opt-In

Families whose children attend non-public or community schools must complete this form to request transportation services through the district. Submitting this form helps the district plan efficient routes and ensure transportation eligibility.

Private & Community Schools Transportation Impracticality Form 2025-26 

Please complete this form in cases where providing transportation to a private or community school has been determined to be impractical for your child. This form is part of the process for receiving a transportation payment in lieu of services.
