The Solon City School District’s Pupil Services Department provides a range of services to support the district’s mission of empowering every student, every day, to achieve personal excellence.

Services include:

• Related Services

  • Related services are supports identified on a child's IEP that are required to assist a child with a disability to benefit from special education. Some of the most common related services include:

    • Occupational Therapy

    • Physical Therapy

    • Speech-Language Pathology

    • School Psychological Services

    • Attendant Services

    • Transportation

• Section 504

  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act ensures that a child with a disability has equal access to an education. A student identified as disabled under Section 504 may be eligible for services/accommodations if he or she has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits learning or another major life activity.
