Welcome to music at Lewis Elementary School! Lewis music students  will use their voices, bodies and instruments to discover, create and perform music. As active music makers, we will experience music physically, visually and aurally and will build on our current understanding of music concepts and skills.

Fourth grade students may choose to take violin rather than general music if they plan to be in orchestra when they reach fifth grade. Information about the violin program is sent home each year during the first week of school. Third grade students will play recorder for the second half of the school year. Information is sent home about recorders after winter break.
