Memo from Mrs. Lane and Dr. Ashkettle: Summer Reading Expectations for AP Government
Prior to entering the class for the 2019-2020 school year, it is expected that students have a basic working understanding of the American Constitution. To do so, students will be required to purchase and read selections from AMSCO Advanced Placement United States Government & Politics 2019 Edition. Expected readings include the Introduction (pgs 1-21) and the body of the original Constitution (pgs 628-637). Using these readings, and additional research if necessary, students should be able to identify and explain the following concepts:
