  • Return to School - Update on Current Conditions

    Today marks the end of the third week of our phased return to blended learning that provides synchronous instruction for our virtual students and those who are attending on-campus. Our schools can only remain in session with an on-campus option as long as cases of COVID-19 in our schools among students and staff remain low.

  • AP Scholar Awards for 2020

    The College Board, which administers the national Advanced Placement program, is presenting 442 awards to Solon students and recent graduates who have earned the designation of AP Scholar in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP exams for 2020.

  • Staying the Course on the Return-to-School Plan

    Yesterday’s update by Governor DeWine included news of trends regarding the incidence of COVID-19 throughout Ohio and Cuyahoga County. Although Cuyahoga County has moved to red on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System, we believe the Cuyahoga County Board of Health guidance we received today will allow us to stay the course in our return-to-school plan.

  • Food & Nutrition Services Updates

    As we transition to blended learning with some students on campus and others continuing virtually at home, we want to share information about the changes in the school lunch program for all students. Families are also urged to complete the Free & Reduced Lunch Application for meals and fees if their family situation has changed.

  • Return to School for In-Person Learning Slated for October

    Students in Grades K-6 are scheduled to return on October 5 all-in 5 days a week and Grades 7-12 on October 19 with an alternating schedule 2 days a week in person. Students who selected virtual for the semester will remain distance learners until December 18.
