Principal's note
As principal, it is my sincere belief that all children can and will
learn if the information to be
acquired is presented in such a way that
the student can
grasp it. There are
many variables
involved in the learning process; educators take into consideration
all of those
variables, but
maintain focus on the true goal of education.
Many students come to school highly motivated
and ready to learn. These
students will be successful in any circumstances. Students lacking
motivation
require more guidance and
learning doesn't come to them as easily. Educators must
find ways to motivate
all students,
convincing them that the key to a successful life is on-going learning.
Family values are a variable with powerful impact. Consistent positive parenting
can
enhance the life of any student and increase understanding. |
In any one school
year, if parents
and the teacher work as a team with the common goal of showing student progress,
a high degree of
success can be attained. I look forward to having you as part of our Roxbury
family and part of Solon City Schools Professional Learning Community.
