Five Year Forecast Financial Review - October 2009
A joint effort between the Solon High School Diversity Achievement Program (DAPS) and Amnesty International helped raise close to $1,000 for the people of Haiti thanks to the generosity of students and faculty at the high school. The full 100% of donations will be sent to the American Red Cross National Office in Washington, D.C. In addition, the students organized a Wear Red for Haiti Friday last week and handed out red ribbons to raise awareness of the suffering of the Haitian people. A similar collection at Lewis Elementary School netted another $1,000 for Haitian relief efforts. Orchard students raised more than $1,000 during a one-day bake sale.
The Solon Board of Education meets tonight at 7 p.m.
