UNDERDEVELOPED NATIONS –
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION IN AFRICA, M.E., AND
L.A. ?
POWERPOINT
PROJECT – THE REAL DEAL
WHAT? You will be utilizing
PowerPoint to create a slide presentation/ hypothetical proposal to the United

groups’ possible solution to a serious problem that plagues either Asia, Africa,
the Middle East, or Latin America.
Possible choices include hunger, inflation, debt, conflict, government
instability, unemployment, crime, environment issues, birth rates, dependence
on resources, etc. The class will be
split into five groups with two groups researching African or Latin American
problems and one group researching a Middle Eastern problem.
WHEN? You will have one day of class to
choose partners, a topic, and begin to gather and organize information. Then you will have two days of research time
(one with supplied material), seven days of computer lab time to create the
presentation (including video), and two days to present the projects. Your group would be greatly benefited if you
are organized and well researched before the first day of creating the
presentation.
