It Doesn’t Phase Me

Upon completion of our mitosis unit, you will be asked to create an authentic assessment using various symbols/analogies/sounds which will represent the different phases of mitosis.

Example 1: This picture could represent an important part of prophase. How?

Example 2: The Beatles song “Come Together” could represent the condensation of chromatin.

Requirements:

1. Powerpoint quiz consisting of 6 slides.

*Slide 1: Overview of all 5 representations of phases.

Note: Each representation on this slide needs to be linked to the appropriate slide.

*Slides 2-6: Larger picture of each of the 5 representation of phases.

Note: Each of these slides needs to have a link back to slide 1.

* This document is to include each representation of the phases in the correct order and a written explanation describing why each symbol represents each phase.
