You are away on a business
trip
in Timbuck2;
And what you eat
should be good for you.
You must design your
meal,
To fit your body appeal;
You will be away for one
day,
So what will you weigh?
Your meals are up to
you,
So what will you do?
Burgers, shakes and
fries,
What appeals to your
eyes?
Your
assignment is to plan your breakfast, lunch, and dinner for that day. However, due to your busy schedule, you will
not be able to visit the same Fast food restaurant for any meal. In your expense report to your boss, show
that the food is not only cheap, but good for you. You should create a table for each item you ate, including the
amount of fat, protein, carbohydrate contained in each food item and the
calorie content. Remember, your daily calorie limit is 2,500 and you must stay
in the recommended daily allowance of carbohydrates, lipids (fats), and
proteins. You can find this information on the restaurants website.
Your
report must include:
1.
A page for each meal (3
meals) including a table listing fat, protein, carbohydrate content and
calories.
2.
A narrative (paragraph)
describing each meal and how it follows your plan – what have you used up so
far of your total calories and
3.
At least one picture of
the molecular structure of a carbohydrate and fat found in something you
ate. (If you can find a picture of a
protein you ate, you will receive a bonus.)
