The Solon Athletic Boosters organization is faced with a dilemma and they are asking the Geometry classes for help. As you know, the football stadium is and has been going through some renovation. Last year they added two new sections of seats for the home fans and they are presently adding new seating for the visitors. In order to enhance the aesthetics of the stadium, the boosters have agreed to hire a contractor to paint just the light poles. The bids will be based on the surface area of the poles.
Their dilemma is that they are having trouble computing the surface area of the poles. This is where the Athletic Boosters need our help. They would like us to supply them with the proper information. To further complicate the request, the poles on the home side of the stadium may be a different height than the poles on the visitors’ side.
Your group’s task
