Students will

1.    write a poem using imagery to describe their childhood bedroom

2.    create a multimedia presentation with dramatic reading, images and/or video that conveys the poem’s meaning

Assessment:

Assessed according to multimedia rubric

Learning Strategies:

1.    Students will analyze poetic devices in  selected poems

2.    Practice “distilling” language

3.    Students will write their Memory Poem
