Daily Lessons
May 20Black Panthers and Malcolm X students will identify and explain the differences between Malcolm X's black separatism versus MLK's non-violence.  Students will identify and explain the goals Black Panthers
May 20Introduce Business Letter Students will learn the components of a business letter and type their own business letters in class tomorrow. Students should bring contact information with them tomorrow to class.
May 21Type Business Letters Students will have the class period to type business letters.  Students may use their business letter packets to help them type their letters.
May 22Unit 7 Vocabulary Review Activity Students will participate in a review activity to help them prepare for Friday's Unit 7 quiz.  Please review parts of speech, synonyms, definitions and how to write sentences using the words effectively.
May 23Warriors Don't Cry Chapters 13-18 due today! Students will complete a group activity compiling content from chapters 13-18.  Students will adopt roles such as quote gatherer, summarizer and vocabulary technician to analyze content from these chapters.
