Jonesy is the Blue's Man of the military. He respects people's opinions and knows how to turn any moment into a blue's moment, which is good. Marla is the kiddish sort of girl. She knows how to be funny without being flirty. Marla's personality gives any horrible object it's compliments. I don't think that Birdy, Jonesy, or Marla wouldn't be friends if it wasn't for Operation Iraqi Freedom/war because if they weren't forced to be together and help each other, they probably would abandone each other because they all have completly different ways of thinking. But since now they're friends, they're are almost family.

I think that jonsey is a calm, colected guy that has a different thinking on most of the things that happen.
Marla is a very Gung-Ho, confident, ready for anything type of person.
I dont think that they would have been friennds, because really, they are nothing alike. the war and stress realy brought them together in spite of their differences.

Jonesy is a person who really likes the blues and gets along with Robin. Marla is a person that is sort of outspoken and likes to tease Robin a lot and she was the person that started calling Robin Birdy. Jonesy relates to Robin because at the start of the book he says he will watch Robin's back if Robin watches his. Marla relates to Robin because she tells him about her life and is his teammate. I think Jonesy may have been Robin's friend because they really become close, in the beginning of the book they talk to each other at night. I don't think Marla would have been friends with Robin because she made fun of him and he really minded that until they were in action together and got to know each other better.

Jonesy is a funny guy who is kind to Robin and loves the blues.pg 10 saving my money so I can open up a blues club. Marla is a strong character who doesn't like to show herself but is sencetive when sad things happen. And i also think that Robin has brought them together because at the begining of the book Robin and Jonsey said they would watcyh each others back. so they became good pals.

I don't think there is anything in the book that says that they are friends because they are in the same troop. Marla and Robin aren't great friends but they do kid around with each other.They are both real sad when something bad happens. Jonsey and Robin are friends because Jonesy said that he's got Robin's back at the beginning.
