Lunch Payments: The new online system for funding
student lunch accounts will be available for deposits on Tuesday, August 18.

Our new EZpay online payment system for SHS fees and books
is ready for use! This new system will be a benefit as it will save you and/or
your child from waiting in the traditional long lines at the bookstore.
You received basic instructions on how to use the system in
a letter from Mr. Steyer with your child's schedule this week. In the letter,
two options for online payments were outlined; e-checks and credit cards. Due
to an unforeseen delay, the e-check option will not be available for a few
weeks. The district has negotiated a favorable solution for all our families to
compensate for the delay. All families using the system with credit cards to
pay for fees, workbooks and lunches will have NO SERVICE FEES for the next few
weeks. This is a savings for everyone using the system.
Please remember that when you log onto the system for the
first time, you must register each of your children using their student ID
number. For subsequent log-ins you will only need your e-mail address and the
secure password you create.
You may pay for workbooks and fees for all of your SHS
students in one transaction. After you add the fees for one child into your
payment basket, just return to the payment center to pay fees for additional
children. Please disregard the dates listed next to each fee. Those dates are
for internal record-keeping only and refer to the date the specific course was
added to your child's schedule.
You will also have the option of purchasing the mandatory
school-issued lock through the online system. All upper-class students who
already have SHS locks do not need to purchase a new lock. All freshmen will
need to purchase the lock ($5) except those students who are assigned to locker
numbers P1-P185. Those lockers are equipped with built-in locks. Locker numbers
are printed on students' schedules. Seniors, juniors or sophomores who have
lost their locks or left them on their lockers at the end of last year will
need to purchase a new lock. To purchase the locks, click on the "Activity
Fees" tab on the main navigation bar at the top of the EZpay home page. Look
for the "Miscellaneous" option and click. You may purchase a lock for as many
students as you like through this option. The lock will add to the student's
full fee total at the end of the transaction.
As you complete your payment in the EZpay system, the fees
will be marked as "payment pending." This is correct. The fees will be marked
"paid" in the system as soon as the funds clear the bank. You do not have to
wait until the fees are marked paid to pick-up your materials.
The EZpay system details whether the amount you owe is for
course fees alone or workbooks. If you only owe fees and do not have any
workbooks and do not need a lock, you will not have to go to the bookstore on
your assigned day next week. Everyone else will need to go to the senior
commons with their paid receipt to pick up their workbooks and locks on the day
assigned to their grade in the letter from Mr. Steyer. Do not stand in line at
the bookstore; report directly to the senior commons for your quick pick-up.
Remember, in order to pick up materials, you or your child
MUST bring the detailed "Thank you for your payment" receipt that is E-MAILED
to you, lists the specific fees and confirms your payment. Do not print the
summary page from the EZpay site.
The system is very easy to use and we hope you will take
advantage of the NO FEE grace period over the next few weeks. Look for an
e-mail at the beginning of next week regarding using this system to add funds
to student lunch accounts.
