Congratulations to senior Kaitlyn Glaser who signed a National Letter of Intent today to continue her athletic career at the collegiate level. Kaitlyn will be attending Clarion University to participate in the Volleyball program. Kaitlyn earned All-Conference honors in the Greater Cleveland Conference as well as second team All-District honors in 2015. Congratulations to Kaitlyn on her accomplishments while at Solon and best of luck to her at the next level. GO COMET!

Solon Comets traveled to Elyria tonight and came away with an 8th straight victory by topping the Pioneers 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18. Leading the Comets were Kaitlyn Glaser 19 kills, Naeemah Story 8 blocks, Julianna Kruse 43 assists, Marisa Saylers 23 service points and Dena Tekavec 19 digs. The Solon Comets are now 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Greater Cleveland Conference. The JV team kept their perfect record together as well defeating Elyria 25-10 and 25-14. The Solon JV team is now a perfect 8-0 on the season. Way to Go Comets!

Solon defeated Mentor three straight sets 25-16, 25-15, 25-17. Leading the Comets were Marisa Salyers with 8 kills, Morgan Goodwin 3 blocks, Dena Tekavec 20 digs, Julianna Kruse 35 assists, Dena Tekavec 12 service points and Julianna Kruse with 4 aces. Comet JV also defeated Mentor in 3 sets 25-18, 20-25 and 25-20. Comets return to action on Thursday when we host the Raiders of Shaker Heights. Please come out and support the Comet Volleyball team. Solon defeated Kent Roosevelt this afternoon and raised their record to 3-0 with a four set victory over the Rough Riders by the scores of 25-18, 25-16, 14-25 and 25-16. The Comets were led by Kaitlyn Glaser with 12 kills, Dena Tekavec with 11 digs and Julianna Kruse leading the way with 35 assista, 8 aces and 24 service points. The JV team also raised their record to 3-0 with a straight set victory over Kent Roosevelt 25-8 and 25- 11. Comets begin Greater Cleveland Conference action on Tuesday hosting the Panthers of Euclid High - GO COMETS!
