Students came out in big numbers this week to support the boy's and girl's basketball teams. On Wednesday night they cheered the Lady Comets to a 55-37 victory over Twinsburg. Friday night the student section traveled to Twinsburg to assist the Boys varsity in a 51-39 victory over the Tigers. The crowds for both teams were the largest of the year. The students were loud, energetic, and having a blast as they watched their Comets win. Let's continue to build support for both teams as they finish their seasons and head into their regional tournaments. Thank you to all of the students that came out in support of their classmates. GO COMETS!!!

Armed with an energetic student section and a large supporting crowd, Solon traveled to Twinsburg High School Friday night to face the rival Twinsburg Tigers. Defense along with solid shooting led the Comets to a 51-39 victory. The victory gives Solon 4 wins in it's last 6 games. The Comets were led by their Seniors, LaVonne Davis (13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks), Darren Young (12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block), and Brendan Jackson (10 points, 2 assists, 1 block).
