The 2014 edition of the Solon Comets debuts on Friday night at Stewart Field. The Comets are looking to start off strong against a Kenston squad that reached the second round of the playoffs in 2013. Friday night’s game will bring the Comets to Stewart Field to start off the season on their own turf. This will only be the fourth time since 2003 that Solon has opened up at home. This is a non-conference game and will not have any impact on the 2014 Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division standings. Solon and Kenston are in the second year of renewing a long rivalry that was put on hold in 2005.

Solon’s JV squad will take on Kenston Saturday morning at Solon beginning at 10:00a. The Freshman team will travel to Kenston on Thursday for a 4:30p kick.
